Good: I can appreciate why some of the technophiles among us are disappointed with this monitor. Trying to emulate Ansel Adams quality photos in an electronic image can be a daunting challenge. I was replacing the PC in our kitchen. It is mostly used for email, slide show of our videos, and general family research (travel, shopping, etc). The monitor (and new PC) replaced a 17" "all in one" unit.

I don't share the need to have exceptional quality imaging capabilities. We also use this as a television in the morning. All is quite satisfactory for our needs. The images are clear and easy to look at. The text is distinct and easy for these old eyes to read without strain. I spend all day in front of a pc at work and after having looked at over 100 monitors I use the 22" LG at my desk. No complaints from anyone about the quality of the images or text.

Bad: This monitor doesn't have the mounting holes to accommodate an wall mount. My applications are fine for the pedestal so no issue here.

Conclusion: If you're not trying to display studio quality images this monitor is an excellent value for you.

What a monitor! I have been waiting for a wide screen LCD for quite some time. I am glad I bought an LG 22". The colors are amazing. Some of the websites that I have visited before come alive now and show deeper and richer colors. You can have more windows open and get more things done. I love it!

This monitor is very sharp, bright, very good picture. Fast motion pictures come across clean and clear. I would recommend it. There were no problems during install. Everything worked the way it should. It arrived right on schedule.
